Beretning fra Erfurteleverne

2. november 2016 af Udvekslingsklassen fra Erfurt

Our trip to Aarhus started on a Sunday in September, at an early 6 o’clock in the morning…

After a funny 10-hour-bus-tour we arrived in Aarhus – our destination that we had been looking forward to for weeks…

All the host families stood, waving, in front of Marselisborg Gymnasium – giving us a warm welcome.

After introducing one other everybody went to their new homes for the next days – with beating hearts…

The days to come were really exciting for us. The week quickly passed by with a full, but totally interesting programme that broadened our horizons a lot:

Great English and Danish lessons as well as high-tech Social Studies, a revealing guided City Walk and an informative Harbour-Tour, and museum visits we will never forget – because AROS and MOESGAARD MUSEUM matched their hype!! We also went out to Blommegarden to have a soccer match (traditionally won by the Danes) and to be close to the sea to enjoy bathing. All the time we were accompanied by excellent sunny and warm weather – even the Danes told us that they have never had such a fine September season.

The Danish and German guys met nearly every evening to play soccer, watch TV or just to hang around for having a nice time.

Then our last day in Aarhus came.  After a really funny show in the morning at school and the visit of DEN GAMLE BY we had a big party at school and of course, another party afterwards J…

On Saturday we left Aarhus with mixed feelings. We definitely would have liked to stay much longer.
But we had to say good bye to our Danish mates and their families – now we are looking forward to seeing our Danish students again in Erfurt in March 2017.

MANGE TAK FOR ALLE og VI SES!!
